Stages to accomplish your Dream!

Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it.”

A dream never becomes a reality through magic, it takes hard work, sweat, and determination, and dreams never become true overnight, it takes as much time as the person dreaming it.

Any idea has 5 main stages. The generation stage is the starting line for new ideas for new ideas. Successful idea generation should be fuelled both by the pressure to compete and by the freedom to explore. Brainstorming is the key to concept creation. One must also keep track of all the ideas that are generated, at this point all the ideas will be varied and potentially relevant. One must then review each idea to determine its appropriateness, and this can take from 6 months to about 2 years, and it is here that many back out because they are not able to balance their regular life and find out ideas for a new venture.

The second stage is reviewing and researching and formulating a business plan – here one has to be careful on what concepts you want to take forward and what concepts you want to reject and then reviewing if the current plan will be beneficial to the society and if it will be good for business. After which one has to make a business plan for the same. This takes about 1 year depending on the pace of your work. And many people here quit because some are not dedicated enough to follow through with the research and then come up with a business plan.

The next stage is Development and testing here is where you create a prototype of the product/ service that you want to sell and then see how the public reacts to it. Here is where many people fail because they haven’t understood what the public wants and/or the public does not understand what is the commodity is it that you want to sell. Though this takes very less time- that is maybe about 3-6 months. Many fall out of the race here.

The last and final stage is Launching a successful product launch should address whether the appropriate number of products exists, whether you have correctly planned and executed your marketing activities, whether all of the appropriate documentations have been developed and whether your employees are properly trained and ready to support the product.

Ultimately the time taken is dependent of the entrepreneur and how much he/she is willing to pursue their idea to its final stage and how determined they are to make their product known to the public. Some people take 1 year and some take 5 years. So time is a subjective matter but a true entrepreneur stays with his idea till it takes flight.
